modern slavery is a book and a 52-minute documentary produced completely independently, the book (and the DVD containing) is distributed free in some alternative sites in France and Latin America. The text was created in Jamaica in October 2007 and the documentary was completed in Colombia in May 2009. There is a version of it in French, English and English. The film was made from fragments embezzled from feature films and documentaries.
The focus of this film is to update the status of modern-day slave under the totalitarian system and publicize commercial forms of mystification that hide the servile status. It was conceived under the sole intention of attacking from the front the dominant organization in the world. In
the vast battlefield of global civil war, language is one of our weapons. The intention is to call things by their name and reveal the hidden essence of reality through the way it is called. Liberal democracy, for example, is a myth as the dominant organization in the world is nothing liberal or democratic. It is thus urgent to replace the myth of liberal democracy by its concrete reality of commercial totalitarian system, it is releasing this new expression by way of a line of gunpowder ready to ignite the minds with the unmasking of the profound nature of domination present.
Some here want to find solutions or gender preconceived answers "How to make the revolution?". This is not the purpose of this film. Rather, it is critical to the society requires that we must fight. This film is primarily an activist tool whose purpose is to make the most of them to question and criticism spread where there is access. Solutions and program elements we build together through practice. We do not need a guru who comes to explain how we should act: freedom of action must be our hallmark. Those who wish to remain slaves await their messiah or the work would suffice to follow the literally in order to become free. We have seen many of these works and the men in the history of the twentieth century they set up the revolutionary vanguard and lead the proletariat to the release of his condition, results of this nightmare speak for themselves.

There can be no ambiguity in the nature of our struggle. We are part of the emancipation of humanity, and against all forms of discrimination. Everything for everyone is the essence of the revolutionary program to which we adhere.
