Applied knowledge is salvation from ignorance. Even the wisest among us have much to learn and no one, until now, has reached perfection, no one can achieve perfection in a short life. Observed everywhere in nature a slow and persistent deployment produces a higher development of everything. More we learn about the methods how nature works, the symbol visible the invisible God, the better we will be able to take advantage of opportunities provided for growth and power - to the emancipation of slavery, and elevation for the control of ourselves. This process is evolution.
the beginning of his evolution, man was only in spirit and body had no soul. But since then, every life lived on Earth, in the great school of experience, has given more and more soul according as it has seized the opportunities and the lessons he has learned from them. This is demonstrated in various gradations between the savage and the saint, we see everywhere. All races are products of evolution, whose only goal is perfection. The highest expression in life, becomes the lowest expression in the next life, and thus gradually climbed the ladder of evolution towards divinity. Mankind as a whole is progressing slowly on this path, gradually reach higher levels of consciousness. One of the main characteristics of evolution lies in the fact that manifests itself in periods of alternating activity and rest. The busy summer is followed by rest and inactive winter, and in each season there is little progress to advance in the path of time. The activity of the day alternating with the stillness of the night. The rising tide is followed by the ebbing tide. So, like all other things move in cycles, the life that is manifested here on Earth for a few years should not be considered as completed when death comes. The birth of this body is infinitely far from our end.
Our spirits are immortal and physical bodies are the instruments we use during this earthly life to help us in our evolution. We can be sure that in whatever position we are placed in life, king or beggar, rich or poor, contains the lessons and experiences necessary at this point in our evolution and gives us the best possible advantage for our development. As sure as the Sun rises in the morning after the night set in, so life ended by the death of a body will start again in a new vehicle in a different environment. Evolution is the history of the progression of the spirit in time. Wherever in Heaven and Earth, all things go forward, upward-, forever, and as we see around us the varied phenomena in the universe, we realize that the path of evolution is a spiral.
Each loop of the spiral is a cycle. Each cycle merges into the next, and as the turns of the spiral are continuous, each cycle is the improved product of those preceding it and the creator of those more developed states to come. But the path of evolution is a spiral when we consider the physical side only. Is a lemniscate, or figure eight, when seen in their physical and spiritual phases. The two circles of the lemniscate converge at a central point symbolizes the immortal Spirit, the Ego evolving. One of the circles signifies its life in the physical world, from birth to death. During this time planting seeds with every act and should harvest a certain amount of experience, if lessons are learned from their opportunities. Then at the end of this life the Ego will be on death's door loaded with richest fruits of life. The other cycle symbolizes the lemniscate Ego stay in the invisible worlds spanning the period from death to birth.
While the Ego comes to the central point on the lemniscate, which divides the physical from the spiritual worlds, has a collection of powers and abilities gained in all his previous lives, which can be put in use or buried during the experience your next life according to his opinion. On the other hand, as his use of his acquired powers, the amount of growth depends on mood that builds up in your next life. We have lived through a similar existence to the mineral, plant, and animal before to become human, and beyond us are still other developments where the Divine will approach more and more. The man moves slaughter only.
Few realize that when we got on the scale of evolution, we're doing trampling the bodies of our weaker brethren. Consciously or unconsciously crushed them and use them to obtain our own purposes. This is a fact concerning the Realms of Nature. When a wave of life has fallen to its lowest point in the regression and was embedded in mineral form, is caught immediately by another wave of life that takes just over disintegrating mineral crystals, the suits their own needs in the form of crystalloid, and assimilated as part of a plant form. The same principle applies to any spiritual evolution, because if there were no students in the lowest rung of the ladder of knowledge and training needed, no need of a Master. But here is an important difference. Master grows giving and serving students, as well as to all, no matter what position in life, grow through service. The shoulders of their students, the teacher goes to a higher rung on the ladder of knowledge, and for that I owe a debt of gratitude which is symbolically recognized and awarded with washing feet, an act of humble service to those who serve Him. Under the benevolent guidance of the great minds, we are progressing steadily, from life to life, under conditions appropriate to each individual exactly, until we reach the higher evolution time and we become supermen.
The occultist believes that the purpose of evolution is the development of man from a static to a dynamic God - a creator. So that he can become an independent and original Creator, it is necessary that their training includes enough latitude in the exercise of individual originality that distinguishes the formation of imitation. While certain features old form satisfying the requirements of progress, are retained, but in the evolving life every rebirth adds improvements such originals as necessary for future expression. The laggards who failed to reach the levels necessary to stay on the crest of evolution, are abandoned. In the progress of evolution will not stop. Progress or decline is the law and how it is incapable of further improvements must degenerate. The pulses evolving work toward the ultimate perfection for all.
It is therefore reasonable to assume that the exalted Intelligences which are responsible for our evolution, using every available means to pass except the most possible entities that are responsible. Every vibration of the universe is life and all life has sprung from a god. Therefore, although we are all one, yet there are some who are constantly behind.
